What does power flushing involve?

Power flushing is a rapid and deep cleansing process to remove sludge and other contaminants from a heating system. Power flushing equipment connects to your home's heating system and uses water at a high velocity and low pressure for a comprehensive cleanse without causing damage to the system.

This technique causes the black sludge in your radiators and pipes to flush out, and the process is repeated until clean and pH neutral water emerges. Inhibitor fluid may be added at the end of the cleanse to prevent a future build-up of contaminants.

Following problems with our heating system EVO plumbing and heating were recommended to me by another heating company. Nathan arrived and carried out a full assessment of our heating system, including a water quality test that showed the system required a flush. We now have a system that is brilliant. There are no longer any cold spots throughout the house and because Nathan fitted thermostatic valves we have the flexibility to easily adjust each room's temperature to our requirements. Must say, the service from EVO and Nathan has been excellent.

He arrived a bit late, for which he had warned he had had an emergency, replaced the necessary parts in short order. Courteous, explained everything and did the job with no problems.

Arrived on time, courteous and tidy. Checked what needed to be done then worked through job efficiently. Showed the iron sludge extracted in the machine and refiled system with inhibitors then ran up to temperature, demonstrating the improvement in the worst problem radiator. Completed job on time. Since the work required access to most of the house its nature is quite invasive but this was handled well. Many thanks.
